Taoyuan city is known as the gateway of Taiwan, connecting the country to the rest of world through Taoyuan International Airport. Located in northern Taiwan, it is also the center of country’s economy. As part of their multi-year Smart City initiative, Taoyuan City partnered with Microsoft to power Taiwan's first government hybrid cloud platform. With Azure Arc-enabled SQL Managed Instance and together with Synapse and Power BI, the city was able to deliver improved city services to their citizens and unlock the power of data.
